Note that the following is only applicable to authentication (sign in). Other data is subject to the privacy policy approved during account sign up.
Storage and use of data
Our sign in module uses Firebase. This means that authentication/sign in data is stored in the Google cloud (Google Cloud Platform) and handled by Google. The following data is stored and used as follows:
- Data necessary for authentication (e.g. e-mail addresses) is only used for providing authentication.
- IP addresses are logged for a limited time and used to prevent abuse.
- Web browser types are logged (anonymously) to provide and improve Firebase services.
Regarding third party authentication
When you sign in using third party authentication (i.e. using buttons Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft), Bowlres uses the account's name and e-mail address to simplify registration.
When you choose third party authentication, the user terms, data privacy policy and cookie policy of the respective third party's authentication service (Google's terms, Microsoft's terms) are applicable.
